I learned this the hard way. I was of the belief that if God said it that settles it and I would passively sit and wait for it. I was also of the belief that if God is in it then he would always magically pave the way for it and things would be achieved easily without a fight. Boy was I wrong.

Nothing good comes easy (by the sweat of your brow you shall eat bread) and nothing comes without a fight especially when God is in it. The moment a word is released over your life, the devil begins to fight and to block you in that area. It's in his nature to resist God and in so doing dampen our efforts of being in the will of God.

If God is in something, expect opposition. If God is in it then expect a fight. The devil will not sit and watch us cross over into victory land while doing nothing, so we must arm ourselves with the knowledge that we must have a made up mind to fight for that which God have promised us and to fight to the end.

I remember being sick of kidney stones 2 years ago. The stone was so massive that I was told I would need a surgery to remove it. I went to my bed one night and I dreamt that I saw the Lord and he told me I was healed. The moment I received that word you might think that all would be well but that was the time I began to experience more intense pain. While I was in severe pain and agony, I had to rise upon the authority of Christ and declare my healing. I had to become violent and take back by force what the devil was determined to rob me of...even though I already had God's word.

I got up out of bed -in pain- and I continued to do my daily activities- in pain. I decided to act on Gods word that if I am healed then I dont need to be in bed and I refused to give in to the pain. After a while the symptoms disappeared and I had no need for surgery to this day bless God.

If God says it, that settles it but we must step out in faith. If God is in it there will be fights but we must be determined to fight to the end. Christianity is not a bed of roses. Problems will come but there is one thing we can be sure of and it is that God will be with us to deliver us to the end.

May the church become violent and take back that which is rightfully hers, Amen.
