Don't Let the Power of the Cross go in vain

As we are still in the Easter season, we continue to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. A true child of God celebrates Jesus in season and out of season, but this time is used specifically to focus on the sacrificial love that Christ has for us so much that He took our place on that cross. He did it so that we could have a blessed hope of reigning with Him forever -- if we accept Him in our hearts.
As we focus on Christ's suffering for you and I, I just want to remind every believer, that you've got it. You've got the authority and power of God within you, but are you using it?
When you go before the Lord in prayer, use what He has given you. There is no need to pray and ask the Lord to heal you, for by His stripes you were (already) healed. You've got it, proclaim that truth. Don't go before God asking Him to deliver you because who the son set free is free indeed, therefore you are already made free, proclaim it. There's no need to ask God to supply all your needs, it's already supplied so instead, thank Him for it and ask Him to guide you into His will. Get busy here, because faith without works is dead. If you are asking God to supply a need, you must be actively making room for His provision whether by utilizing a gift or talent etc.
As believer's, we must learn how to come into the truth of God's word and walk in it without doubt or murmur. No one said it would be easy, but we can do it. It was not easy for Jesus to endure the journey of the cross, but He made a way for us showing that we too can overcome whatever hurdle we face if we face it with Him. The power is in your mouth, speak your way out of your circumstance. Stand on the word of God, profess it daily and with faith, claim each promise that God has given you.
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. He that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is rewarded of them that diligently seek Him.
Do not let the power of the cross go in vain. You've got it. Walk in the truth of God's word daily, grow in your relationship with Him and watch Him work in your life. According to your faith, so be it to you. Have a blessed day.
