The Holy Spirit Interrupted my Prayer

Does your Prayer make Sense? Praying with knowledge is effective.

Sometime ago I was in prayer asking God to loose me from the spirit of fear when suddenly a light bulb went off as the Holy Spirit asked me a question. "What makes you think that you are bound by the spirit of fear?" He asked.

My immediate response was to cut my prayer by pondering on that thought. The scripture, "Who the sun set free is free indeed" came to my mind and I was liberated with truth.

The devil often uses deception as his strategy against the Body of Christ. The devil will always try to trap you in your mind by tempting you with his deceptive devices and if we bite into his lies then we will be decieved. It is pretty easy to believe something that appears to be real. It's often easy to conform our thoughts according to what we percieve in the natural, but our thinking should always be in alignment with God's word and what He says about us.

I no longer pray loose me or free me, but instead I stand in agreement with the word of God and declare what He says about my life according to His word. In this, lies the power of truth and effective praying.
