It is rather interesting how often we can forget who's really in charge, by trying to make things possible on our own.
If we just stop to think and allow God to get his rightful place in our lives - which is at the head to lead us - things would fall into correct perspective and flow much smoother and easier.
Trying to make something happen on our own can be quiet challenging. Trying to make something happen that is outside of his will becomes more tedious and impossible, which can lead to frustration and bewilderment.
No matter where you are in your life it is extremely crucial to find out if you are in God's will and if God is at the head of your life. Before Joseph was promoted, he was first sold into slavery and later placed into prison but no matter where Joseph went God's divine favour went with him and that was because God was in control. Based on his situation, his circumstance then, and his surrounding, he could appear to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but patience, loyalty and humility turned it all around for him. Even when it seem like things are going wrong or the opposite way, I challenge you to remain faithful to God. It was his faithfulness and obedience that activated God to move on his part in the right time leading up to his promotion. God has a time for everything.
Ensure that he is at the wheel of your life that his timing will be able to manifest into our lives (our personal desires and reasoning can mess up God's timing for us). Whatever time it will take for us to get to where he wants us to be and to accomplish all that we must here on earth or all that we desire, when God is in control of your life what we may accomplish in our own strength over five years, God can give it to us in one day. All you need is God's favour, his guidance and direction.
Choose to be obedient to him and give him FULL control of your life and things will turn around.
It pays to be obedient, it pays to be faithful, it pays to abide in his will, it pays to serve God and it definitely pays to wait upon him. Patience is virtue. May God give you the wisdom to discern, the patience to wait and the knowledge to understand.
