I have learnt that if you want to be successful in any fight you better study your opponent and his moves. Never under estimate your opponent. In this daily fight, our opponent - the devil - knows our weak points and the right buttons to push because he have studied us.

The devil will do whatever it takes to get us in a defeated state. He will use the children, our marriage, financial struggles, problems in the work place... you name it, all of which spells distraction.

You got it! The devils main ploy is to distract us and to get us off track that we no longer follow God but stray from the things of God. But if you remain focus and keep your eyes on God through it all he will be defeated and God glorified.

We must learn from the examples that Jesus have left us. In the midst of the storm while he was out at sea, with his disciples, he was slept. Can you imagine sleeping in the midst of a storm while out at sea? He never lost focus and he never got distracted by what was going on around him. Not even by his disciples that became fearful.

It is so easy to get distracted these days. It can be difficult to focus on that which is seen so you can imagine that which is not seen.

Jesus knew his father and he had absolute trust, confidence and assurance in him. It took faith for Jesus to lay down his power and take the form of man to come to earth, but his faith was rested in his fathers hands.

Where does your faith lead you right now?

Every storm is either to elevate you and take you higher or if it was sent by the devil it is to distract you and cause you to shift your focus from off God. Never take your eyes off God and put it on your problems. Focus and rest in God. Do not be distracted.
