We are living in a serious time and if anyone have not yet realized that we are in a daily battle which is spiritual, then you need to educate yourself through total dependence on the Holy Spirit.

We are in a war and Paul gave insight into the type of war we are fighting. He said, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I have come to accept the fact that this fight will never end until the return of our Lord. The devil will not stop to make war against the saints until God comes back for his children. I understand perfectly why we are referred to as soldiers because we are in a spiritual war daily. Yesterdays victories are not sufficient for tomorrow's challenges. Each day is a new day; new war to face and new victories to be won.

With this in mind, we need to develop a war like mentality to fight daily without succumb to the temptations of giving up or backing out.

Remember the story of David and Goliath in the book of Samuel? I just love the fearless and warrior mentality that David possessed. He knew and understood that the battle was not carnal neither was i physical. He faced it as a spiritual challenge and he knew the battle was not his but for the Lord's. Little David because of his courageous efforts and total confidence in God, fearlessly challenged someone quiet bigger than himself. His zeal paid of and his fierceness gave him the head of Goliath. David knew that nothing was too big for his God to handle and therefore nothing was too big for him! He learned how to see things God's way.

My brothers and my sisters, what is the Goliath in your life today? What mountain stands before you? What is it that seems impossible in your life right now? I say to you my friends in Christ, take it by the neck! Though the road seem rocky, take it by the neck! Though the hill might be steep, take it by the neck! The circumstance might seem dim right now but take it by the neck! You may be getting weary, it may seem as if you are fighting a battle that you will never win or that may never end but I say to you right now go with God and take it by the neck. We can accomplish nothing in our own strength. We can accomplish nothing on our own. We can never accomplish that which we must without first seeing things the way they really are in God's eyes. Get God's perspective before drawing your own assumptions. The situation may look hopeless but before giving up what does God have to say about that situation? As warriors we must be fearless and not easily discouraged. We need a soldier mentality where we will fight without backing down. It is about time the body of Christ become violent and take by force all the devil have stolen from us. Rise up! Get violent in spirit, face whatever you must and take it by the neck. Go with God and victory will be yours in Jesus' name! Peace be with you all, amen.
