Ephesians 6 tells us about the tools needed for spiritual warfare which are prayer, faith, the word of God, having Christ /Salvation etc., but we often overlook living a Holy life as being a weapon to use against the devil. Maintaining holiness or righteousness not only paves the way for us to see God's face when he returns, but it also acts as a barrier between us and the devils agents as it paves a highway for God to act or move on our behalf including in fighting battles.Remember the children of Israel? God fought on their behalf but whenever sin entered the camp they lost every battle until repentance was made. God could not continue to move or to fight for them until sin was eradicated. The bible declares "no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly", and if this is not our testimony, then our life is worth a personal review. There are processes that we must go through, testings and trials yes, but there must also be an end to all these. What i'm trying to say is God's provision in our lives may be interrupted or limited sometimes for various reasons such as those mentioned earlier, but it should never become the norm (to suffer lack) because his word is true. If I am not experiencing all that God has for me, it would be a wise thing for me to examine myself because a prolonged cessation of blessings could mean that my lifestyle consists of 'loop holes'.God's word does not lie. Every part of it is true and I have come to realize that I can become my greatest enemy. The only one that can hold me back is me. Not even the devil can stop me when God gets ready to move unless I allow him, and the same goes for you. The devil only gets the upper hand whenever we give it to him and the one to fear is God and not the devil. God loves holiness and it pays to live for him. He will fight for you and make a way for you once you learn how to get things right (he can guide you).Holy and righteous living will force God to show up for you in many different ways. Remember his word! "No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly".How is your living? Your living will determine your end.
