LESSON #9: PUT GOD FIRST

One of the most profitable thing we can do for our self in life is to put God first in all we do. Life is like a maze or a puzzle and in order for us to solve life's most complex issues effectively we need to be able to allow God to have his way in our life. If we just grasp the full reality of this we would be so much better than we are right now.

Putting God first means that we acknowledge him. It means that we recognize him as a supreme being and trust him enough to take control of our lives.

Putting God first is an act of humility as we take ourselves out of the picture and submit totally to his will.

Putting God first shows a level of respect, reverence and honor for God and this type of genuineness is what is needed to move God on our behalf.

You may ask the question, how do I put God first? Well the answer is pretty simple but much difficult than it sounds. You put God first by being obedient to his word and this should be at all cost no matter what.

This is a pretty general statement but the statement is true to itself in every sense. This act of dedication to obedience can only be birth out of true love for God and a genuine heart that is passionate about pleasing him. Once you acquire this passion, Putting God first becomes easier and more meaningful. Proverbs 3 says "trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path". Putting God first in your life pays. You will be favored highly by God when you surrender your all to him. When you put God first what you achieve in five or ten years you can get that and more within a day. When you put God first, when you honor God, God will honor and take care of you. When you put God first divine favor becomes yours. Seek God in all you do. Let go and let God take full control of you and your life. Ensure that God is in all you do because favor is waiting to knock on your door - if you learn to put God first.
