I’m talking about love which yields commitment.

It is not in how much you know, but how much you do and let me add, how much you do because of love. 1 Corinthians 13 tells us that if we have faith that we can move mountains and if we bestow all our good to the poor, if we prophecy and speak with tongues of angels, if we do not have love we have nothing.

Love is the order of the day and the bible tells us again that the law is fulfilled in this, that we love our neighbor as we love our self. We must love each other.

Love is also an action word and the scripture goes further to say if you love me keep my commandments. He that says he loves me and does not keep my words, the same is a liar and the truth is not in him.

St. John 14:21-24 says it this way:

21 He that hath My commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me; and he that loveth Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said unto Him, “Lord, how is it that Thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world?”

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, “If a man love Me, he will keep My words; and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him and make Our abode with him.

24 He that loveth Me not, keepeth not My sayings. And the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

That’s the secret of love. If you want more of God just become practical, Become a doer of the word and not just a hearer only. Christ will then be manifested in your life. How much of him do you want?
