I am no longer worried or perturbed whenever a storm comes my way because I understand this principle that is often overlooked.

If you are in training in a particular area of expertise, before you can qualify you must first pass the test. So too it is with us and God. Before God blesses us, he will bring us through a test or a series of test to prove whether or not we qualify.

This is what God did with the children of Israel after he made his covenant with them to bless them. According to Deuteronomy 8, God led the children of Israel into the wilderness to prove them and to see what was in their heart.

God only wanted to prove that a set of people would love him in spite of. God wanted to be certain that the blessing would not replace him or their love for him. What matters most to God is our heart...he wants all of our heart.

So the next time you are faced with a trial, just remember that it may be a test. Remain committed to God for he is watching you and before you can be elevated, you must first pass your test.

Pay attention, everything in life is a lesson, be focussed and pass your test.Happy Monday.
