DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD

In the midst of an intense battle, sometimes the thing that appears the easiest to do is to give up and give in. Frustration and discouragement are two of the greatest weapon that the devil uses against a Child of God.

Many people give up at the brink of a breakthrough without realizing. Many marriages fail near the point of transformation and so too many turn their backs on God the moment He was to come through for them.

The story of a Christian man comes to mind. He was being tortured for His faith and his refusal to deny Christ, by being tied at his hands and feet, and stretched. As the pain became unbearable he shouted, “I deny Christ, I deny Him!” He was then loosed by his torturers after which he collapsed and died.

That man was seconds away from entering eternity and at the moment of desperation; he gave in and lost his soul only seconds after. He was so close to heaven, but hell became his destination because He denied Christ.

Today, this could be true for you also if you are willing to settle. Where you are now is not where God intends you to remain. Believers, it is time to fight for that which is ours unto the end. Soldiers do not quit and winners do not lose. Giving up is not an option and the battle is already won. May the church become violent and take back by force, all that the devil has stolen. Do not give up on God and refuse to settle when God is not in it. God bless you.
